Virgin Poppy Seed Oil has a floral, herbaceous aroma that is quite powerful
- To make Virgin Poppy Seed Oil, the seeds are chopped and roasted for 45 minutes, and then pressed for 3.5 hours. The lengthy extraction technique preserves the natural flavours of the seeds. After a few days, the oil is filtered and bottled
- It's great for giving cheese-based salads a kick (lettuce, rocket, dandelion), and for boosting poppy seed flavours (in bread)
