Abondance AOC is a medium-sized mountain cheese from the Haute Savoie region of France in the Rhone-Alps; one of the most celebrated cheeses of the Savoie
- Abondance cheese is made exclusively from unpasteurised milk produced by the Abondance breed of cattle
- Abondance has a bright orange rind as a result of its 100-day aging in the cool and moist aging caves. The texture is smooth and rich. Like many other alpine cheeses, Abondance has a floral flavour with undertones of hazelnuts and nice acidity. Its flavours linger on the tongue
- Ingredients: Whole cow’s milk
- Size: 250g, 2.25kg, 4.5kg, 9kg. The whole wheel weighs around 9kg
